100% Biodegrable Plant Pot
Product Descriptions
The plant pot (or seedling pot) is the latest product application that we
developed. The seedling pot is produced by a blow molding process, the same process that
is used to produce plastic bottles.
Traditional Seedling Pot
There are problems created by using plastics traditional made seedling pots:
- The seedling’s roots cannot extend if placed inside a plastic pot.
- The pot must be removed before the seedling is planted into soil.
- When removing the pot, the damage caused to the seedling’s stem and roots results in 20% of loss.
- The removed pots need to be waste treated.
Advantages of using Biodegradable Seedling Pot
Our 100% biodegrable seedling pot transmits oxygen much better than plastic pot, and since
plants breath with roots, so as a result the roots in our pot grows better, more dense and white. The
biodegrable seedling also grows taller comparing to seedling in plastics pot.
Our biodegrable seedling pot conforms to EU, USA, and Japan biodegrable/compostable standards. It
has the following benefits:
- Will turn into CO2 and H2O by work of microbe in soil, and leave no toxic residues behind
- Save labor cost from removal of pot during pot changing and planting
- No need to remove pot before planting, minimizing seedling loss
- Relieve from waste treatment problem of removed seedling pot
- Has good oxygen permeability which helps the growth of the root and seedling
The following pictures show the 22nd day in the plant pot where seedling roots grow better, thicker, taller, whiter and healthier.
The seedling pot can be used in the nursery environment where it will not degrade. Below shows the
plant where it has been in the seedling pot for 49 days indoor.

Once seedling pot is put inside the soil, it will start to degrade. Below shows the plant pot at 45th day in soil.
The picture shows the biodegradation process has taken place.
